Salah Offers Regret to Squad, Discloses Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has disclosed that the Egyptian forward expressed regret to the team following the uproar from his televised remarks.

The striker was dropped from a European match after criticising the club and claiming his relationship with manager had soured.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
Arne Slot has previously declined to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.
Team Unity
The player stated that the squad's reaction remained positive. “He was his usual self, he had a big smile on his face and we all treated him normally,” he continued.
Jones also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “I get that there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s concerning.”
On-Field Response
Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the games following the interview fallout. He feels the outburst were not designed to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, the source has been from a desire to win,” the midfielder stated. “It's behind us and we’re building chemistry, getting results and on a positive run.”
